Below are programs and resources we offer for the UGA and LGBTQIA+ communities. Whether you are looking to celebrate at Lavender Graduation or become a Dawg Ally, we are here for you. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Don’t know where to start? Reach out to our office where a staff member will gladly assist you.

DAWG ALLY

A three-hour training for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in learning about gender and sexual identity, homophobia, heterosexism, and how they can provide support and work toward being an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Our next training sessions will be held September 15th, October 20th, and November 10th from 1 to 4 p.m. 

Interested in departmental wide training? Request us to come speak to your entire team for large group sessions.

PRIDE CENTER LIBRARY

Visit or preview online our books, videos, journals, and magazines available for UGA students, faculty, and staff to loan out.

LAVENDER GRADUATION

Celebration that acknowledges the achievements and contributions of graduating LGBTQIA+ students. Participants receive a stole as well as a gift from the Alumni Association. All are welcome to attend and support. Email us at pride@uga.edu for more information.

LGBTQIA+ SPRING BREAK TRIP

Join us on our alternative Spring break trip that focuses on giving UGA students an LGBTQIA+ Capital Experience in the nation’s capital city of Washington D.C. This 7-day trip will include visiting some of D.C.’s greatest attractions centered around LGBTQIA+ themes. Limited spots are available so register today!

When: March 3 – 9, 2024.

Application due: November 20th , 2023. 

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK TO?

Meet with a Pride Ambassador! They are able to talk about a variety of topics or help consult for UGA faculty, staff, and students. Whether you need help finding affirming spaces or just need someone to listen, our ambassadors are here for you.
