oSTEM (Out in STEM) is a student organization devoted to the professional, social, and academic development of its members. It is an entity for LGBTQIA+ STEM students and their allies in all STEM related fields, programs, and majors at UGA. More importantly, we help members reach their fullest potential while remaining authentic to their identity.
We offer three student-led support groups catering to distinct gender and sexuality identities: Ace/Aro, Bisexual/Pansexual, and Trans and Gender Nonconforming Communities. These groups aim to foster community and provide peer support. Meetings are typically held bi-monthly, with the frequency adjusted based on the needs of the students.
