Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals
The combined vision and mission of the Consortium is to achieve higher education environments in which LGBT students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni have equity in every respect.

Trans Lifeline
Trans Lifeline provides culturally competent services to Trans and gender nonconforming people in crisis; they work with stakeholders within and without the Trans community to end the plague of Trans suicide; they empower Trans people to help other Trans people in the darkest moments of their lives.

The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)
The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) has been advancing the civil and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families through litigation, legislation, policy, and public education since it was founded in 1977.

Family Equality Council
Family Equality Council connects, supports, and represents the three million parents who are LGBTQ in this country and their six million children. We are changing attitudes and policies to ensure that all families are respected, loved, and celebrated—including families with parents who are LGBTQ.

Athlete Ally
Athlete Ally is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization that provides public awareness campaigns, educational programming and tools and resources to foster inclusive sports communities. We mobilize Ambassadors in collegiate, professional and Olympic sports who work to foster “allyship” in their athletic environments.

Parents, Families, and Friends of the LGBT Community (PFLAG)
Founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation’s largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are LGBTQ with families and friends, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality

American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER)
American Veterans for Equal Rights is a non-profit, non-partisan, chapter-based Veterans Service Organization of active, reserve, and veteran service members dedicated to full and equal rights and equitable treatment for all present and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, especially the LGBT current and prior military personnel.

Deaf Queer Resource Center (DQRC)
The Deaf Queer Resource Center (DQRC) is a national nonprofit resource and information center for, by and about the Deaf Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Intersex and Questioning communities.

Intersex Campaign for Equality (ICE)
The Intersex Campaign for Equality is a multi-gendered, multi-orientation, multi-racial NGO working for human rights for intersex people, particularly the rights to bodily integrity, self-determination, legal recognition, and de-pathologization of intersex traits and non-binary identities in medicine and society.

National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC)
The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) is a civil rights organization dedicated to empowering Black LGBT people. NBJC’s mission is to end racism and homophobia.

BiNet USA
As America’s oldest advocacy organization for bisexual, pansexual, fluid, queer-identified and unlabeled people, BiNet USA facilitates the development of a cohesive network of independent bisexual and bi-friendly communities; promotes bisexual and bi-inclusive visibility; and collects and distributes educational information.

Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN)
Welcome to the Asexual Visibility and Education Network. AVEN hosts the world’s largest online asexual community as well as a large archive of resources on asexuality. AVEN strives to create open, honest discussion about asexuality among sexual and asexual people alike.

National Center for Transgender Equality
The National Center for Transgender Equality is the nation’s leading social justice advocacy organization winning life-saving change for transgender people. NCTE was founded in 2003 by transgender activists who recognized the urgent need for policy change to advance transgender equality.

GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD)
Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation.

The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24. The Trevor Project offers phone, chat, and text options for service.

Campus Pride
Campus Pride is working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQ students. The organization is a volunteer-driven network “for” and “by” student leaders. They hope to develop necessary resources, programs and services to support LGBTQ and ally students on college campuses across the United States.

Lambda 10 Project
The Lambda 10 Project works to heighten the visibility of LGBT members of the college fraternity and sororities by serving as a clearinghouse for educational resources and educational materials related to sexual orientation and gender identity/expression as it pertains to the fraternity/sorority experience.

National LGBTQ Task Force
The National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice and equality for LGBTQ people. We’re building a future where everyone is free to be themselves in every aspect of their lives. Today, despite all the progress we’ve made to end discrimination, millions of LGBTQ people face barriers in housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights.

Lambda Legal
Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
