The Dawg Ally program at UGA is a two and a half hour training for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in learning about gender and sexual identity, homophobia, heterosexism, and how they can provide support and work toward being an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Andrea Carson Coley Lecture was endowed by a donation by Andrew and Kathy Coley in memory of their daughter Andrea Carson Coley (1972-1993), who was a certificate candidate in Women’s Studies. Each Spring, the Women’s Studies department’s Andrea Carson Coley Lecture brings to campus scholars doing cutting-edge research in the area of LGBTQIA+ studies.  

Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration and recognition event that acknowledges the achievements and contributions of LGBTQIA+ students at the University of Georgia. Graduating students, as well as alumni, have an opportunity to participate in the program and receive a stole.
